Times are hard these days and you really have to be smart on spending your hard earned money. I'm thinking of buying a new printer that I can use for my hobby since the old one is acting up. Maybe I'll check out the local store and see when they are having a sale. Laser printers have become cheap these days but I think I'd still go for the cheaper ink jets.

Laser printers have a much cleaner print, print faster and the paper won't wrinkle because of excess of ink and the cost of printing is lower.
On the other hand laser printers are bigger, use more electricity and toners are more expensive (though they can print more making the cost of print per page lower).
I would stick with a laser one for the quality.
